On
behalf of the P&C Committee I would like to welcome you to Emu Creek. The P&C plays an important and positive role in the school community.
In 2022, we were able to donate to the school $1000 towards camp, $350 to pay for a P-2 Excursion (free-of-charge to families), $1000 for all school books, resources and stationery for 2023, a new oven and microwave for the tuckshop, shirt and hat for all new enrolments and a senior shirt for all Y6 students.
The
committee supports the school and students financially through fundraisers,
tuckshop operating 1 day per fortnight and a uniform shop which is open every day of
the school week. These funds allow for our school excursions to be drastically discounted
or free and the children’s book list to be paid for yearly.
Our
P&C is a fantastic way for you to be a part of the future of the school and
for you to have your voice heard. We host a strong, respectful and friendly
environment that encourages mutual relationships with the staff and families.
I
encourage any families who have children in Prep to 6, and have recently moved
to the area or are considering a change of pace, to visit our beautiful country
school, and see the amazing environment and education Emu Creek State School
can offer your child and family. Open day is every day!
