At Emu Creek State School, we like to give our pre-preps and their families ample time to adjust to the next step in their education.
We are pleased to offer a comprehensive prep transition for you and your child.
Not sure when your child is eligible? Children born from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018 are eligible for prep in 2022. Check out the Prep Ready Reckoner for more details.
In Term 4 each year, we conduct a pre-prep transition program, Step into Prep, for children set to begin prep the following year. You and your child are welcome to attend any or all prep transition days.
Dates for Step into Prep in 2021 are:
* Monday 15th November 9-11am
*Monday 29th November 9:30 - 11:30am (Children are welcome to stay for lunch and a play).
In addition, Playgroup occurs every Friday afternoon, from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Our playgroup is open to all children aged 0-5 years. Children enjoy the fun of an obstacle course, story time, craft, music and playtime. Our playgroup is designed and run by Mrs Erin Morris.
